Porn tree challenge - January 2013

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you're all doing well, and I hope you're all ready to write, because...

...the amnesty period has closed, and it's time for Round 9 of the porn tree!

WARNING: This comm is anon-friendly, so viewer advisories and the like are turned off. However, you will likely find sexually explicit material here, and you may possibly find content that is disturbing or triggering in some fashion. Please turn back if you are not of age to view sexually explicit material and/or okay with the thought of maybe running across potentially disturbing things. We want the porn tree to be fun for everyone, not a horrific experience!

What we are doing here is a Prompt Tree Challenge. Any fandom is welcome, or for that matter things that aren't usually considered fandoms (historical figures, mythology, whatever you want - go for it! More power to you.) Gen and smut of any type are both welcome. Fanart is welcome, too - but if you post art, please link to it instead of posting it directly in the comments, and use appropriate warnings.

I'll go ahead and try to explain how this'll work. Please read the instructions even if you participated in previous challenges. (Some wording has been changed for clarity.)

First, you leave a top-level comment naming the fandom you'd like to see people write in, both in the comment and the subject line. Example: you want someone to write fic for...oh, I don't know, how about the game Tales of the Abyss. So your comment and your subject line both say:

   Tales of the Abyss

Then anyone who wants to, including the original poster, can reply to that comment with the name of a character from that fandom they'd like to see people write about. Let's say one of you wants someone to write about Luke. Now it should look like this:

   Tales of the Abyss

      Luke fon Fabre

People who are interested in that character can then reply to that comment with one or more characters they want to pair the first character up with (in either a gen or porny context). So you might get a thread that's starting to look like this:

   Tales of the Abyss

      Luke fon Fabre

         Guy Cecil

         Tear Grants

HOWEVER - when you comment with the response character, please change the subject line of your comment to reflect the pairing you're going for (i.e. if you responded to Luke with Tear, your subject line would say Luke fon Fabre/Tear Grants or Luke/Tear.) It's a good way of helping people keep track of pairings that have already been asked for, and helping them find pairings they might be interested in reading or writing.

People who wish to leave a specific prompt at this point can leave one either for a pairing, or for a single character. For example:

   Tales of the Abyss

      Luke fon Fabre

         Tear Grants

            fonic hymns

OR:

   Tales of the Abyss

      Luke fon Fabre

         memory

People can leave fic at any point in this tree - they can write fic for a single character, fic for any of the character pairings, or fic in response to one of the prompts. Again, please change the subject line to reflect the character or pairing and the prompt (if there's no prompt, just put "no prompt" instead.) Example:

   Tales of the Abyss

      Luke fon Fabre

Any fic about Luke goes here

         Tear Grants

            Luke/Tear fic goes here

            fonic hymns

Luke/Tear fic specifically responding to the "fonic hymns" prompt goes here.

Points to remember:

* Make sure if you're responding to a pairing by itself that you leave your fic as a reply to the pairing; if you're responding to a specific prompt, leave your comment as a response to the prompt. Also remember, in the above example, if you wanted to leave a prompt for Guy or Tear by themselves, or pair them with a different character, you'd just start a new comment tree under the Tales of the Abyss heading. (See why it's a porn tree now?)

* You may leave responses to your own top-level comments if you have specific characters you want to see paired off with the character you first named. Don't be afraid to leave multiple pairings and prompts. You left a comment about Kamui Shirou from X/1999, and you want to then offer up the opportunity to pair him with Kotori Monou? Go for it. You commented with Vashyron from Resonance of Fate, and you have a hankering to see him in bed with Zephyr? Pair away. You want to leave prompts to your own characters or pairings? Feel free. We won't yell at you.

* Multiple people are allowed to respond to the same prompts. This is where the subject line thing comes in so very handy. We don't want a whole bunch of different threads all requesting the same pairing when just one will do just as well, right? Check the subject lines for your pairing, and if it's not listed, go wild. But if it's already there, please don't post it again - you can feel perfectly free to leave a prompt, though!

* Yes, you are free to request crossovers - if, say, you find a comment with Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist, and you want to pair him up with Lelouch from Code Geass (hey, go wild if that's your thing), just reply to the Edward comment with "Lelouch (Code Geass)".

* Do not lump all the games in a single franchise or series together! It may be tempting to drop every Final Fantasy or Phantasy Star game under a single heading labeled "(series name) series", but in the interests of more easily finding a specific game without having to hunt all over hell and back through one top-level comment, please make a separate top-level comment for each game.

* Do NOT leave an empty top-level comment with no pairings or characters under it. I know the idea behind that is to get other people's imaginations going, but if there's nothing at all under the series heading, it makes things really, really confusing. Please leave at least one for the sake of clarity.

* Please, please, please use the subject lines to clarify your pairings! It makes it so much easier on all of us, whether we're reading, writing or just keeping an eye on things.

* In the spirit of the above, PLEASE only use the localized names for characters, unless you're prompting for a series that has been unreleased outside of Japan. If you think people won't recognize the character without the Japanese name, you can certainly feel free to add it in parentheses after. Example: "Jessica Philomele (Philomel Hartung)".

* And again looking at the above, if the character you're prompting for goes by a nickname that would be more easily recognized than their actual name, put that nickname in the subject line and the character's full name (then followed by nickname in parentheses, if you so choose) in the comment itself. Of course, it is totally up to you what you think would be more easily recognized.

* Please add "FIC" to the subject line if you are posting fic, (and likewise, "ART" if you're posting a link to art) so that people can easily distinguish between fic (or art) and prompts! Example: "FIC: Luke/Tear (no prompt)".

* I'm also going to ask that if you're writing or drawing porn, please add "[MA]" to the subject line for your comment, so that people who aren't here for smut can skip it. Example: "[MA] FIC: Luke/Tear (no prompt)". (HOWEVER, this is a big, big forewarning to everyone: I am sure that some of us are going to forget about the porn warning on occasion, so you may well stumble across something that squicks you. If this is a truly horrible thought, you may want to skip this challenge.)

* And last of all - you may feel free to add on to another person's prompt! Like, for example, maybe you saw "clash of tempers", and you'd like to add "in bed" or "at lunchtime" or "in the shower" (hey, I don't know), just reply to the original prompt with your addition.

I'll leave a couple of prompts to start with so you get the general idea. If you're still confused, go ahead and ask questions here; I'll try to respond to them the best I can.

This challenge will run until February 1st. Let the January 2013 porn tree challenge begin! Happy porning!

[MA] FIC: Kyosuke / Katina – 100% Casual

[personal profile] samuraiter 2013-01-03 07:27 am (UTC)(link)
* Inspired by the first story arc of Dai-2-Ji Original Generations. Because it is quite rare to see these characters in the games minus their normal partners, and that means fuel for pairings that I did not anticipate ... including this one. Thank you, Banpresto.

SILENDA

Night had come to La Gias – a planet inside a planet, a sky that had no horizons. The Sun had changed colors, fading to black, leaving a darkness that might have been free of stars if not for the lights cast by ... magic, perhaps? Beacons set up at the highest points of the continents that decorated the curvature above? And all of it had been there for thousands of years, a separate civilization evolving inside the bosom of the Earth. Kyosuke had seen all kinds of things in his life, including aliens and miracles, but being transported to La Gias had served to rekindle his sense of the fantastic.

He had a number of questions for Masaki and his companions among the natives, but he had to address the immediate concerns of his party first. He expected another series of raids by the Shutedonians at any instant, and he had no real base of operations to handle his logistics despite La Gias being as fertile and Earth-like as he had once been told – not his decision to make, at any rate, since Lune had assumed a leadership role from the start of the expedition, turning to him for advice as needed. She had matured since their first encounter in space, and he only needed to correct her on minor points.

Days had started to turn into weeks, and the tension never seemed to break despite moments of peace between the battles. Stress had started to take a toll on the party, as it always did during a campaign, but Kyosuke refused to let it get to him, and he treated the journey as the adventure it seemed to be, budgeting his resources as needed, but focusing on keeping his companions in high spirits. Most of them managed, save for Tasuku and his concerns about finding enough food, but the only question mark seemed to be Katina. He had never been able to get a good read on her.

They had paused for the night in one of the rifts that streaked the landscape, keeping most of their machines at minimum energy to avoid detection and conserve resources. Katina had volunteered to scout the region, since her Gespenst, a hand-to-hand model, had the smallest output, and Kyosuke had offered to accompany her as support for a change of pace. She did not protest, but she did remark that Russel had done nothing to deserve a day off from being her subordinate, and Russel had managed a perfect expression of self-pity. Their two-person comedy act never seemed to change.

The region surrounding the rift proved to be a stretch of unbroken desert, one of several that Kyosuke had noticed among the green areas of La Gias. The topography program on his console had no issues mapping the landscape and rebroadcasting that data to the camp, there to be compiled by Russel and distributed to the other pilots – a routine task, but Katina had provided no specific time for returning to the rift, and Kyosuke, after noticing a small oasis – sheltered by a circle of large rocks – only three kilometers off their vector, suggested making a quick stop to check the actuators for sand.

That only required a five-minute pass using one of the scanners that Marion had developed specifically for the Gespenst series, but Kyosuke did not immediately return to the second seat in the cockpit, hoping to give Katina – another officer, not a soldier serving under him, he had to recall – a minute to open up. She seemed content to do her stretches at the foot of her robot as he packed up the scanner and returned it to its impact-proof packaging, the portable lamp he had attached to his shoulder serving to illuminate the all-too-small pond that lay beyond the circle of rocks in the darkness.

"Nanbu," she said, her tone as rough and all-business as it always seemed to be, "cigarette?" He had no idea that she smoked, but it looked like she had managed to stick a pack of Kamel Reds – a vintage brand, not easy to obtain, and produced in extremely small numbers – into one pocket of her pilot suit. He shook his head, and she smirked. "He gambles, but never smokes? Purist." That point, he had to concede, but the aroma of the cigarette, after she lit it, did remind him of the days he spent learning to play cards as a rank-and-file soldier. "You and Russel have that in common."

"I used to smoke," he admitted, sitting next to her as she used the foot of her machine as a crude bench, "but I never got the hang of it. Made sense to quit. Russel did the smart thing and never started in the first place." She nodded, taking a long drag on the Kamel, closing her eyes as she savored the taste. "But I do love a good sake. Not going to lie about that, but it has to be perfect. I have a list of the good years to buy tucked into my deck of cards." He allowed himself a self-deprecating half-smile. "Have to save up for each of those bottles. Shame the high-ups never give us a bonus."

"Shame," she agreed, finishing the cigarette and extinguishing it under her foot. She sat for a second, looking up at the night, at the ball of blackness that used to be the Sun of La Gias. "Hey, Nanbu." He turned to look at her, still recalling a bottle of sake that the late Captain Daitetsu had recommended to him, one that had the perfect note of dryness amidst its myriad flavors. "Don't have to be back for a little while. Mind if I go for a swim?" He did not, and he nodded to indicate that. "You can join me if you want. I'm not afraid to share." And that might represent the opening he had expected.

"Sure," he said. He had already done a quick check of the pond, and it had no unique qualities, no surprises, nothing to catch a foot or interrupt a swim. That being said, he turned off the portable lamp, following her back to the center of the oasis, his ears informing him of a familiar series of noises as she discarded her pilot suit and easily splashed into the water, not caring how cold it might be. He followed suit, the night protecting their modesty as he joined her, the pond helping to relieve him of days of grit and sweat accumulated from being on the run since his arrival in La Gias.

Silence filled the air between them for several minutes as they took advantage of the water and made themselves feel at least superficially clean again, but neither of them left the pond upon finishing, and Katina decided to break the ice, taking a seat on the bottom of the pond, the water scarcely coming up to her chin as she said, "They talk about you, you know. The others. About how you like things being complicated." Did she refer to – ? "You and Excellen. You and Lamia. The guys all respect you for that. And no, it's not a secret, the Lamia thing." Not that he had bothered to conceal it.

"Excellen and I keep things open," he replied, shrugging in the darkness, "because if you don't see the thing between her and Bullet, you're not seeing everything." That earned him a dry chuckle. "That one's for fun. He's a good guy, and he needs it. I feel for him. Kusuha knows, too." Only the sound of Katina shifting in the water, perhaps to scratch behind one ear. "And Lamia is Lamia. She wanted to learn, and I wanted to teach." That brought a smile to his face. "I really, really wanted to teach. Can you blame me on that?" Then, a question. "If that's in the open, what about you and Russel?"

"I left the door open for him," she said, "and I told him so, but he's standing there, mouth open, not moving. If he changes his mind, I'm there, but it'll probably be a 'just friends' thing. That's okay, too." A pause. "Not that I haven't been there, you know. I've had a few. Just like Aya has." He had to have a quick laugh at that. Aya had Ingram under her belt, and rumors had also linked her to Rai and Ryusei, but Rai said nothing of it, and Ryusei ... had a real situation. (Aya and Mai? Kyosuke had to respect that. But ... Latooni?) "It's kind of been a while, though. I'm not going to lie about that."

That seemed to hit the nail on the head, and Kyosuke answered, "That's fair. Masaki did say that anything that happens in La Gias stays in La Gias." A stock excuse that Masaki offered for more or less cultivating a harem despite everything he said to the contrary. "Just putting that out there." A long silence followed, but, as he expected, she moved from her side of the pond to his, sitting next to him, not speaking, seeming to be only a silhouette against the night. "I don't know when we'll make it back to the surface. If you want to make a thing out of this, that's up to you. I wouldn't mind if you did."

"Didn't know for sure if you'd be up for it," she said, and he felt her place her palm on his cock, already hard and ready to go. "Guess you are, after all." She stroked up and down, and he rested the back of his head against the bank, allowing one hand to stray to her hip and pull her close. "I'm not your usual type." True, perhaps. Excellen and Lamia managed to be polar opposites in terms of personality, but they did make it seem like he had a thing for classically busty, full-figured types. Katina had more of a lean, muscled build, slender and athletic, but not at all unwelcome to the touch.

"Not that I have a type," he noted, pulling her into his lap and letting her mount him, feeling her easily take his length into her body – after pausing to get a condom from her belt, resting on the bank – and start rocking back and forth on him. "I'm a gambler. Some days, it's hearts. Some days, it's clubs." He enjoyed the feeling of her in his arms as she leaned forward to kiss him. No awkwardness, no hesitation. Like she said, she had been there before, and she had her mind made up. "You're more of a spade. I know it's not a red suit, but there it is." Another dry chuckle. She did not mind.

They both had experience, and they put it to good use. She made almost no noise, preferring it quiet and hard, the only sound derived from her hips smacking against his as she rode him. That provided a strong contrast to both Excellen – hard and fast, but also extremely vocal – and Lamia – silent, but slow, long-lasting, almost tantric. He understood why Russel might balk at her invitation, considering that she did not hesitate to give him a complete workout. By the time she came, clamping down on him and making him come so hard that his eyes rolled back in his head, he was out of breath.

He did not expect her to be up for cuddling afterwards, but she remained atop him, arms around his neck, her wet hair plastered to her scalp, the minuscule radiance of the night making her eyes seem large and bright as she said, "I should've made a bet on that. There's a pool going as to who's the better lay, you or Irm." That might be cause for dismay. "Right now, you're ahead, just so you know. Irm's gotten turned down a couple of times, but you're batting a thousand." A bark of a laugh. "Excellen and Lamia! Next to those two, I'm small potatoes." And she quickly amended, "No puns, Nanbu."

"Wasn't going to make any," he said, fingers playing along her ribs and the hollow at the small of her back. "In fact, if you're not in a hurry, why don't you turn around and – ?" She did, already reaching for a second condom to replace the first. "Oh, yeah, definitely a spade. I'd say you're even the seven of spades." Another bark of a laugh as she put her hands to use to start getting him hard again. Experience, enthusiasm, and energy. That might be one heck of a combination in the long term, if their one-time fling in La Gias offered any pointers, but Kyosuke decided not to worry about that yet.

They made it back to the rift before dawn, looking as professional as they had before leaving. Nobody seemed to suspect anything ... except poker-faced Yang Long, but he had that all-knowing quality to him, as if no lie had a chance of standing in his way. (Masaki had mentioned that one named Saphine had a tendency to put Yang Long off his balance, but –) Kyosuke nodded to him, and he nodded back. Russel and Tasuku, as per usual, had no clue, but the journey seemed to unfold more easily after that. And Katina started to request Kyosuke as her back-up for scouting duty more often.

The first thing they did, upon reaching the Hiryu Kai and escaping from their pursuers, was find a cabin and see if their one-time thing had a chance at permanence. It did.

END.
