I'm late, I know. I'm sorry. I'm preparing to have (more) ankle surgery on the 6th, and hence I've been extremely busy.

But the latest challenge is officially over now!

No master list this month. Um, guys - I'm going to have to start refusing your extension requests from here on out if this keeps up. I don't want to be a grumpy Gus, but it's a little frustrating to hear "I just need a little more time" and then nothing ever gets done. (I'm as guilty of this as anyone - I fully admit that, and I shouldn't take advantage of these extensions to get lazy either.) So, please try not to request extensions unless you're entirely sure you'll be posting something and you genuinely need them? I'm so sorry I have to grumble about it! *prostrates self*

Anyway~ I'm going to go ahead and close the tree for the rest of the year, since this month is NaNoWriMo, and next month will have people either wanting serious downtime, or trying to edit their novels and just getting even more stressed out. I'm also thinking I'm going to go back to the every-other-month schedule when we reopen, instead of the six-weeks-on, two-weeks-off schedule I've been using, since I really don't think the latter is working any better. If you'd rather have the current schedule stuck to, do feel free to let me know, or if you support going back to the every-other-month, weigh in on that too! I value your opinions; we can't have a porn tree without all of you. ♥

New idea: amnesty posting!

Okay - okay - I knew I said I'd shut the tree down till January, but not quite.

Y'see, samuraiter gave me a very good idea, and I've been kicking around something similar to this anyway so I figured I may as well go ahead and implement it on a trial basis...

If you have any fic, for any challenge within the past year, you didn't get posted before the deadline, feel free to post it here and now on this entry. Just name the series, pairing and prompt either in your subject line or in your comment proper, and then post away! Hopefully this will allow you guys to do something with any abandoned fills you didn't get to post previously.

If this goes well, I can make this a permanent feature if you would all like to do such. So, let me know what you think once this is done?

I'll close the amnesty period once the tree opens back up. Until then, happy late filling!
