Well, that explains a lot! I'm not terribly active in challenges (the most I do is run this, and do a personal Fic or Treat challenge every year), so I had no idea this time of year was so busy. I'm glad you brought that to my attention!

You should check out fandomcalendar, if you haven't already. It's a great place for promoting all fandom events. Anyone can post to the community. :)
