porn_tree | Prompt Tree Challenge!

What we are doing here is a Prompt Tree Challenge. Any fandom is welcome, or for that matter things that aren't usually considered fandoms (historical figures, mythology, whatever you want). Gen and smut of any type are both welcome. eta: Fanart is okay, too - but if you post art, please link to it instead of posting it directly in the comments, and use appropriate warnings.

To explain how this works, I'm just going to use a really popular fandom with easily recognizable characters.

First, you leave a top-level comment with the name of a character you'd like people to write about. (For clarity, please put the series the character is from in parenthesis, since occasionally names do repeat. Abbreviations are fine, since presumably interested parties will recognize them.)

Edward Elric (FMA)

People interested in that character reply to that comment with a character (or more than one character) they want to pair the first character up with (in either a gen or porny context).

(To help people find the pairings they're interested in reading/writing about, please change the subject line of the comment at this point to the pairing in question - for instance, if you responded to Edward Elric with Roy Mustang, make your subject line Edward Elric/Roy Mustang.)

People who wish to leave a specific prompt at this point can leave one either for a pairing, or for the top level character. Examples:

Edward Elric
Roy Mustang
clash of tempers

OR:

Edward Elric
what was sacrificed

People can leave fic at any point in this tree - they can write random fic for the top-level single character, random fic for any of the character pairings, or fic in response to one of the prompts.

Points to remember:

Make sure if you're responding to a pairing by itself that you leave your fic as a reply to the pairing; if you're responding to a specific prompt, leave your comment as a response to the prompt. Also remember, in the above example, if you want to leave a prompt for Roy Mustang by himself or pair him with a different character, start a new comment tree.

As I mentioned, please use the subject lines to clarify the pairing!

Please add "FIC" to the subject line if you are adding fic, so that people can easily distinguish between fic and prompts! Ex: "FIC: Ed/Roy (FMA)"

ALSO, I'm going to ask that if you're writing porn, please add "[MA]" to the subject line for your comment fic, so that people who don't want to read smut can skip it. Ex: "FIC: Ed/Roy (FMA) [MA]". (HOWEVER, this is forwarning to everyone: I am sure that some of us are going to forget about the porn warning on occasion, so you may well stumble across something that squicks you. If this is a truly horrible thought, you may want to skip this challenge. XD;)

Yes, you are free to respond to your own characters/pairings/prompts with a pairing/prompt/fic, if you want. And yes, multiple people can respond to the same characters/pairings/prompts.

I will leave some prompts to start with so everyone can look and see what I'm on about! If you are still confused after that, ask any questions here.

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

They're both covered in sweat and grime, and there's a streak of something that could be blood over Flynn's left eye. Yuri doesn't think it is; he thinks he'd remember being good enough to land a hit that drew blood, and he just remembers being in the dirt with Flynn over him.

"Yuri?" Flynn says, and Yuri looks beside him to see Flynn still hovering, the bucket in his hand. "Are you--"

"I'm fine." He grabs the bucket and sets it on the ground, dipping the sponge in and flicking some water at Flynn, not enough to make Flynn complain about wasting water and second trips. Flynn's stripping now, which means Yuri has first crack at the water. They take turns with this, as they must with everything.

The water is even colder on his skin, and he shivers. "Yuri..." Flynn begins.

"Stop hovering, already." Yuri shoves the sponge at Flynn. What he means is for Flynn to clean himself. He doesn't mean for Flynn to start washing Yuri's back, but that's what Flynn does, and Yuri hears himself make a sound. It's not fair; fighting is exciting enough, and it's not like they have privacy, and... He hears Flynn sigh behind him and finally reaches around to snatch the sponge back, glaring. "I can do it myself!"

Flynn stares back, looking oddly lost, and, okay, that's not an invitation, but Yuri looks down anyway and sees that Flynn has the same problem. He considers, then sets the sponge carefully on the rim of the bucket before reaching out. There's no sense in cleaning up right before they get dirty again, right?

The noise Flynn makes when Yuri touches him is small, but it goes straight to Yuri's cock anyway. He's about to touch himself in rhythm, but Flynn's reaching out and already there, the same determined light in his face that Yuri always sees when Flynn's about to learn some cool new move that Yuri can't. "We'll--" he starts, then actually whines as Yuri brushes his thumb over the head. "Yuri, that-- We'll do it together, okay?"

Yuri rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. What's so special about that?"

It's a new way to fight, is how he thinks of it. And this is one that he might actually win, for once.
