Porn tree challenge - September 2013
Our amnesty period is over, and it's time for Round 13!
WARNING: This comm is anon-friendly, so viewer advisories and the like are turned off. However, you will likely find sexually explicit material here, and you may possibly find content that is disturbing or triggering in some fashion. Please turn back if you are not of age to view sexually explicit material and/or okay with the thought of maybe running across potentially disturbing things. We want the porn tree to be fun for everyone, not a horrific experience!
What we are doing here is a Prompt Tree Challenge. Any fandom is welcome, or for that matter things that aren't usually considered fandoms (historical figures, mythology, whatever you want - go for it! More power to you.) Gen and smut of any type are both welcome. Fanart is welcome, too - but if you post art, please link to it instead of posting it directly in the comments, and use appropriate warnings.
I'll go ahead and try to explain how this'll work. Please read the instructions even if you participated in previous challenges.
First, you leave a top-level comment naming the fandom you'd like to see people write in, both in the comment and the subject line. Example: you want someone to write fic for...oh, I don't know, how about the game Tales of the Abyss. So your comment and your subject line both say:
Tales of the Abyss
Then anyone who wants to, including the original poster, can reply to that comment with the name of a character from that fandom they'd like to see people write about. Let's say one of you wants someone to write about Luke. Now it should look like this:
Tales of the Abyss
Luke fon Fabre
People who are interested in that character can then reply to that comment with one or more characters they want to pair the first character up with (in either a gen or porny context). So you might get a thread that's starting to look like this:
Tales of the Abyss
Luke fon Fabre
Guy Cecil
Tear Grants
HOWEVER - when you comment with the response character, please change the subject line of your comment to reflect the pairing you're going for (i.e. if you responded to Luke with Tear, your subject line would say Luke fon Fabre/Tear Grants or Luke/Tear.) It's a good way of helping people keep track of pairings that have already been asked for, and helping them find pairings they might be interested in reading or writing.
People who wish to leave a specific prompt at this point can leave one either for a pairing, or for a single character. For example:
Tales of the Abyss
Luke fon Fabre
Tear Grants
fonic hymns
OR:
Tales of the Abyss
Luke fon Fabre
memory
People can leave fic at any point in this tree - they can write fic for a single character, fic for any of the character pairings, or fic in response to one of the prompts. Again, please change the subject line to reflect the character or pairing and the prompt (if there's no prompt, just put "no prompt" instead.) Example:
Tales of the Abyss
Luke fon Fabre
Any fic about Luke goes here
Tear Grants
Luke/Tear fic goes here
fonic hymns
Luke/Tear fic specifically responding to the "fonic hymns" prompt goes here.
Points to remember:
* Make sure if you're responding to a pairing by itself that you leave your fic as a reply to the pairing; if you're responding to a specific prompt, leave your comment as a response to the prompt. Also remember, in the above example, if you wanted to leave a prompt for Guy or Tear by themselves, or pair them with a different character, you'd just start a new comment tree under the Tales of the Abyss heading. (See why it's a porn tree now?)
* You may leave responses to your own top-level comments if you have specific characters you want to see paired off with the character you first named. Don't be afraid to leave multiple pairings and prompts. You left a comment about Kamui Shirou from X/1999, and you want to then offer up the opportunity to pair him with Kotori Monou? Go for it. You commented with Vashyron from Resonance of Fate, and you have a hankering to see him in bed with Zephyr? Pair away. You want to leave prompts to your own characters or pairings? Feel free. We won't yell at you.
* Multiple people are allowed to respond to the same prompts. This is where the subject line thing comes in so very handy. We don't want a whole bunch of different threads all requesting the same pairing when just one will do just as well, right? Check the subject lines for your pairing, and if it's not listed, go wild. But if it's already there, please don't post it again - you can feel perfectly free to leave a prompt, though!
* Yes, you are free to request crossovers - if, say, you find a comment with Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist, and you want to pair him up with Lelouch from Code Geass (hey, go wild if that's your thing), just reply to the Edward comment with "Lelouch (Code Geass)".
* Do not lump all the games in a single franchise or series together! It may be tempting to drop every Final Fantasy or Phantasy Star game under a single heading labeled "(series name) series", but in the interests of more easily finding a specific game without having to hunt all over hell and back through one top-level comment, please make a separate top-level comment for each game.
* Do NOT leave an empty top-level comment with no pairings or characters under it. I know the idea behind that is to get other people's imaginations going, but if there's nothing at all under the series heading, it makes things really, really confusing. Please leave at least one for the sake of clarity.
* Please, please, please use the subject lines to clarify your pairings! It makes it so much easier on all of us, whether we're reading, writing or just keeping an eye on things.
* In the spirit of the above, PLEASE only use the localized names for characters, unless you're prompting for a series that has been unreleased outside of its home country. If you think people won't recognize the character without the Japanese name, you can certainly feel free to add it in parentheses after. Example: "Jessica Philomele (Philomel Hartung)".
* And again looking at the above, if the character you're prompting for goes by a nickname that would be more easily recognized than their actual name, put that nickname in the subject line and the character's full name (then followed by nickname in parentheses, if you so choose) in the comment itself. Of course, it is totally up to you what you think would be more easily recognized.
* Please add "FIC" to the subject line if you are posting fic, (and likewise, "ART" if you're posting a link to art) so that people can easily distinguish between fic (or art) and prompts! Example: "FIC: Luke/Tear (no prompt)".
* I'm also going to ask that if you're writing or drawing porn, please add "[MA]" to the subject line for your comment, so that people who aren't here for smut can skip it. Example: "[MA] FIC: Luke/Tear (no prompt)". (HOWEVER, this is a big, big forewarning to everyone: I am sure that some of us are going to forget about the porn warning on occasion, so you may well stumble across something that squicks you. If this is a truly horrible thought, you may want to skip this challenge.)
* And last of all - you may feel free to add on to another person's prompt! Like, for example, maybe you saw "clash of tempers", and you'd like to add "in bed" or "at lunchtime" or "in the shower" (hey, I don't know), just reply to the original prompt with your addition.
I'll leave a couple of prompts to start with so you get the general idea. If you're still confused, go ahead and ask questions here; I'll try to respond to them the best I can.
This challenge will run until October 1st. Let the September 2013 porn tree challenge begin! Happy porning!

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World
Richter
Richter/Emil
Richter/Emil, spare time
FIC: Richter/Emil, spare time
The whole situation was always strange, always something he didn't know quite know how to deal with. Richter led on, content to leave things in silence when he wasn't lecturing about this, that or the other, and meanwhile, Aqua would always regard him with suspicion. It was an atmosphere that was so far removed from the time he spent with Marta, Tenebrae and the others that it pushed him farther into himself than usual. He didn't want to misstep. He was sure if he voiced these concerns, he'd probably be told he was being ridiculous, so he left that alone too. There was very little he felt he could say at all.
"If you're just going to stare at the ground the whole time, why are you here?"
Emil's head snapped forward, wide, green eyes meeting Richter's narrowed ones, and he swallowed to keep himself from immediately stuttering or making some undignified sort of noise. Geez, how did Richter catch onto his discomfort so quickly...?
"... I'm sorry." He shook his head, glanced to the side again. He knew the second the words left his mouth that Richter would roll his eyes. He didn't need to see it.
"Just keep walking." And forward he marched, expecting Emil would follow - which he did.
Silence drifted between them again. Emil knew he should leave it that way, he really did. Even so, there was a part of him that really wanted to speak up. He was here, with Richter, and he actually had a chance to talk to him. Maybe he could get to know him better. But... how could he go about that? What could he say, or ask? He thought back, tried to remember how other people started conversations with people they wanted to get to know better. The problem was, everything he came up with sounded like such an awful place to begin with Richter. But what if it wasn't? What if he was thinking too hard--
It was getting to be too much. So Emil stopped his circular thinking in its tracks, quietly took a deep breath to find the proper amount of courage to speak, and then, "Hey, R-Richter?"
"What?" The redhead's reply was quick, like he knew Emil was going to say something. Maybe he did. Richter did seem to be a step ahead in a lot of regards.
"I was just... wondering... Um, what do you do in your spare time?"
And the second the question came, Emil knew just how dumb it was, because it sounded pretty dumb.
What now...?
--------
... Really.
Richter stopped walking, turned to face Emil, squinted as he tried to process the fact that that question really did just come out of the boy's mouth. He started to say something, reconsidered... then sighed, bringing one hand up to push his glasses more firmly into place.
"Do I look like I have a lot of spare time?" He paused, briefly. "Do you even have spare time?"
Emil's reply was, predictably, quiet. "No... I guess not..."
Richter shook his head. He not only didn't have spare time, he also didn't have time for this. He watched the blond struggle not to fidget in place, probably turning himself into a bundle of worry and embarrassment right there, on the spot. He managed not to sigh again, at least, but he did turn on his heel and resume walking, leaving the conversation at that.
Richter usually preferred the silence. It meant he didn't have to find ways to dodge Emil's questions, or avoid his ridiculous lines of conversation, or really even acknowledge that he was there for anything other than what they'd originally set out to do. It was nice. Usually. Right now, it wasn't. And that was strange to him.
He pressed onward, though, and he figured the strange feeling would fade. Everything would return to normal. This time was different. The farther they walked, the longer they went in this silence, the heavier it felt. It was becoming tangible, something tugging between them and filling Richter with enough tension to push him into balling his hands into fists. Once he caught himself doing so, it had become just too much to handle.
"Reading."
And when the silence broke, that ridiculous tension went with it. Thank anything.
Richter could practically feel Emil's wide-eyed gaze on the back of his head. He didn't give the blond any time to stutter out a confused reply. He turned to face him, with a suitably unimpressed expression, and crossed his arms.
"It's not the best answer, I admit it. But it's what I used to do whenever I had a little time to myself."
"Oh." Emil blinked, took a second apparently to think it over. And then, to Richter's surprise, the kid was smiling. "I can see that."
"... Is that all?"
Emil nodded once, firmly. "Sure." A pause, and then, "Thanks for answering."
It was amazing, all the ways Emil could make him roll his eyes - which is exactly what he did as he turned once again. "Well then, if you're satisfied, let's keep going."
The silence was a lot more comfortable, even if Richter knew that Emil was still smiling to himself about something as simple as a one-word answer.

FIC: Emil/Marta, "Cutie Marta has a fang"
---
"Hey, Emil," Marta said suddenly through a mouthful of rice ball. "About earlier. What the heck was that supposed to mean?"
"Huh? Earlier..." Blinking in confusion, Emil thought back, trying to figure out what she was referring to. It could really be any number of things with her. "What do you mean? I don't remember doing anything."
"You wouldn't," Marta muttered under her breath, finishing her rice ball and shifting closer, raising her voice again. "Earlier. That little fang comment! What was that supposed to mean?! You weren't even the least bit enthusiastic when you said it! Ugh, can't you at least pretend you're enjoying yourself? You're bringing me down, you know."
Emil blinked again, just looking at her for a long moment. "...Well, it's true," he responded finally, reaching out a hand to point at her mouth. "Right here, on this side - yeah, right there. It's definitely a fang." Lowering his hand, he shrugged and bit into his own rice ball. "And how do you expect me to be enthusiastic anyway? You know I don't like fighting..."
"I told you, you're bringing me down! Ugh." Marta tossed her hair back, doing her best to look properly indignant. "It wouldn't kill you to smile once in a while, Emil. Even if you have to fake it! At least be glad we won or something! I don't want to see any more frowns after battle, you hear me? Focus on the good parts and quit moping!"
"But I don't..." Emil started weakly.
"You do! And you are! You're moping right now! Quit that!" Now fully focused on her tangent, Marta cut him off forcefully. "C'mon, just a little smile! It's not that hard, is it? Like this, c'mon..." She put a fingertip on either side of his mouth, pushing it up into an awkward smile. "See? That's easy, isn't it? So, no more frowning! I...I want you to keep smiling, so..." she trailed off, looking embarrassed.
Emil blinked yet again, then gently took hold of her wrists and pushed her hands back a bit, a faint but genuine smile taking the place of the one she'd forced on him. "...Okay. I'll try," he agreed, nodding a little. "As long as you smile too, and show me that cute little fang."
"...Ugh, you're so hopeless!" Flailing her hands out of Emil's grasp, Marta scooted quickly back over to her previous spot, covering her reddened cheeks and looking indignant again. "Don't you know it's rude to make a girl blush like that?! You could at least give me some warning, you know!"
Emil just smiled and returned to his meal, not looking sorry in the least.

Sometimes it ended with bruises. Sometimes just bruised egos. One spectacular time, a window somehow ended up broken.
At least they'd quickly learned to laugh it off.
Dextera and Sinistra, despite doing most everything else together, couldn't sleep in the same bed. They could share a bathroom - they could even share a shower.
But share a bed? Not if actual sleeping was involved.
Sex was fine - usually in Sinistra's room but sometimes in Dextera's. Sometimes also in the shower or some other room. All fine and expected.
However, at the first yawn, one of them quickly fled for safety before an epic battle of elbow and shoulders and ice cold feet got underway. Sinistra was a terribly blanket hog. Dextera tended to sprawl sideways.
There was no way to make it work so they didn't.
Sinistra tried not to think about the afterwards as Dextera thrust into him. But they were on his bed and Dextera was touching him just right. And it was late even for a weekend...
"You okay?" Dextera questioned. He paused in his motion and reached to run a hand through Sinistra's hair. Sinistra managed a soft little noise - what had his expression looked like?
"I'm fine," Sinistra replied. He tugged Dextera down for a kiss and shifted his body so Dextera could thrust harder and deeper. Everything felt good. It would be okay to come. He'd keep Dextera close for as long as he could and then--
Too soon he cried out and too soon, Dextera echoed him. After a few more kisses, Dextera finally pulled back to find a towel.
A bit of clean up, a goodnight kiss -- Sinistra cocooned himself in his blankets in record time. It was a bit lonely sometimes, but it would only be for a few hours. And really, it was safer for everyone.
Dextera/Sinistra, trying something new
[Ficlet] Dextera/Sinistra, trying something new
Sinistra chuckled. "From the cache of magazines we were given to kill in-transit boredom on that last mission.
"I read about cars, mostly, and that fighter that Eclair likes so much," Dextera commented.
"History, mostly, and this caught my eye," Sinistra admitted. "We're actually, if I'm remembering correctly, only missing one from this list."
"Which one?" Dextera questioned.
Sinistra flipped virtual pages and pointed. He didn't say a word while Dextera read.
"Okay," Dextera said after a long moment. He smiled. Sinistra smiled.
It was time to try something new.
